A popular entertainer, Charles Oputa, known as Charley Boy has told Imo state governor-elect, Emeka Ihedioha to get the state working again.
Charley Boy who noted that PDP and APC are to him both side of a coin, therefore, warned him that if he messes up, he will get the blame all alone.
“Emeka Ihedioha. Congratulation for winning the Imo state governorship election. Ur party PDP or APC are to me both sides of a coin. However, I pray that your coming will be hope for Imo state. Thank God is non of the other yahoo yahoo people, Uche Rochas etc. Behave yaself.
“Emeka Ihedioha this is the time to restore hope to our beloved Imo people. Time to make Imo work again. We swear, if you fuck up you go take ur head Carry am. Now wey Our Mumu Don do for Imo state, Let’s get to work, no time 4 dulling.”
Reports has it that Ihedioha, a former deputy speaker of the House of Representatives emerged winner of the poll with 273,404 votes to defeat Uche Nwosu of the Action Alliance (AA) and Senator Hope Uzodinma of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Nwosu, who was endorsed by governor Rochas Okorocha, emerged runner-up with 190,364 votes; followed by Senator Uzodinma of the All Progressives Congress (APC) who got 96,458 votes.
Ihedioha had promised to deliver, adding that his word remains his bond.
The entertainer maverick also took time out to lash out at governor Rochas Okorocha after his ‘anointed candidate’ failed to win the poll. He stated that Okorocha’s word ‘Iberiberisim’ entered the market square.
“Any man can play a damn fool for some times every day. Wisdom is knowing your limit. Rochas Okorosomething surely didn’t know when to stop. His Iberiberisim entered the market Sq. as he ruined many lives in Imo. Imo people are getting ready for their pound of flesh. Yeye dey smell.”
