Inline with the Marching Orders by the Abia State Government, Security Agencies in the State on Monday Night raided Four Notorious Brothels in Umuahia the Capital of Abia State.
The Brothels which has now been Shutdown was used as Hideouts by Hoodlums after terrorizing innocent Victims and robbing them of their Belongings.
Before the Directives of the Governor, Innocent Residents were being robbed of their Belongings, Worshippers at the Power World Ministries at some point also cried out over the activities of hoodlums who dispose Members of the Fellowship of their Belongings at gunpoint during her Monthly Cross Over Service.
When PUO REPORTS Visited one of the Brothels CLASSY Hotels located at Orlu Street by Calabar,the Doors of the Brothel was under lock and Keys with no Single Prostitute seen around the Area.
The Situation was same at two of the Brothels located by Cameroon Street Off Owerri Road and Orlu Street Off Owerri were also under lock.
It was gathered that the Brothels were housing over 2000 Prostitutes from Different States in Nigeria.
Governor Okezie Ikpeazu has always maintained that Abia won’t be Conducive for Criminal Elements.
