In continuation of his free medical outreach to his constituents, the Senator representing Abia North Senatorial District Senator Mao Arukwe Ohuabunwa has extended his free medical outreach to the people of Ebem Ohafia in a grand style.
Declaring the program open, Senator Mao Ohuabunwa stated that he believes that health is wealth because it is only a healthy person that can talk of wealth and that’s why he decided to extend the program to Ebem Ohafia.
Senator Mao advised politicians not to only be magnanimous during elections but always be kind at all time, he used the medium to advised the people to always support the PDP and the Administration of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu as more good things will come.
Speaking, the program coordinator of the free medical outreach and a staff of the National Agency for the control of Aids (NACA) Dr. Ajike Kalu Uma stated that the medical outreach comprises optometry services, Lab test, sugar level test, HIV test, medical consultants and lots more. He added that the exercise is free courtesy of Senator Mao Ohuabunwa in collaboration with NACA, he described Senator Mao as a good man that loves his people.
Senator Mao was accompanied by the commissioner for SMEs Barr. Gabriel Igboko, Prince Eric Aso Kalu, Dr. N. C. Eke and other Dignitaries.
Senator Mao later attended the funeral of Late Ezinne Mary Umere the grand mother of Chief Ifeanyi Umure, the Chief Liaison officer to Senator T. A. Orji of Abia Central.
