The Election Petition Tribunal sitting In Umuahia has Struck out the petition filed by Chief Mrs Phina KANU the All Progressive Congress Candidate for Umuahia South State Constituency against the Electoral Victory of Hon Barr Jerry Uzosike of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP).
The Petitioner said she withdrew the Petition against the Victory of Hon Barr Jerry Uzosike on Personal Reasons.
The APC Candidate also revealed that her Counsel Barr Omenihu I insulted her over the Case.
The Chairman of the Tribunal Justice Cornelius Akintoye said the law is clear, when an Applicant decides to discontinue a case.
The Court Subsequently struck out the case.
