The Governorship Election Petition Tribunal Sitting in Umuahia the Abia State Capital on Saturday Dismissed the Petition filed by the Governorship Candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) against the Electoral Victory of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu.

PUO REPORTS gathered that the Tribunal Hinged its Decision based on Indolence on the part of the Petitioner Dr Uche Ogah.

Counsel to the Governor Of Abia State Wale Olanipekun had argued that the Petitioner Dr Uche Ogah failed to meet up with the Mandatory 7Days of Service to the Respondents, hence the Petition should be Dismissed for want of Merit.

The Tribunal Chairman Subsequently ruled that based on the Supreme Court Decision in Aregbesola Vs the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) the Case Lacked Merit ,hence the Dismissal.
