The inauguration ceremony of the newly elected 24 state law makers across Abia state as the 7th Abia State House of Assembly which was earlier slated for Tuesday 11th June, 2019 has now been shifted.
In a release signed by Chief Johnpedro Irokansi who is the clerk of the house, the inauguration sitting will now hold on Monday, the 10th day of June, 2019 while the Valedictory session for the 6th Assembly of the house will hold on Thursday June 6th.
Venue still remain Abia state house of assembly complex while time is 12 noon.
It was gathered that the proclamation of 11th of June for the inauguration of the National Assembly members by the President, Mohammad Buhari necessitated the change of date to enable those from the state to participate in the ceremony.
According to the release, all the inconveniences which may arise from the shift in date are greatly regretted.
