The Speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly Rt Hon. Chinedum Orji today Visited St. Stephens Anglican Church Umuahia the Abia State Capital where he met the Bishops of the Anglican Province of ABA.
You will recall that the Rt Hon. Speaker Of the Abia State House of Assembly who is a Member of the Church had after his emergence as the Speaker of the 7th Abia State House of Assembly two weeks ago visited St.Stephens Anglican Church to return all the Praises To God for his Grace upon his Life.
Speaking during the meeting,Bishop Christian Ugwuzor Bishop of the Anglican Diocese of ABA Congratulated the Speaker on his emergence as the 7th Speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly.
“There is Something in a Name,just as your name is Chinedum, God has taking this State of Abia and handed over to Governor Okezie Ikpeazu, Deputy Governor and your Humble self,all we do is to pray for You and other Leaders”
“It is the will of God that you shall be the Speaker at this time no matter the opinion of Men” He Said.
His Grace Most Rev. Ikechi Nwosu Arch Bishop Ecclesiastical Province of ABA of the Anglican Diocese prayed for the Speaker and Members of the Abia State House of Assembly.
The Anglican Bishops presented a Bible to the Speaker and asked for the Grace of God Upon his Life.
Member Representing Ikwuano State Constituency Hon Stanley Nwabuisi and Hon Jerry Uzosike Member Representing Umuahia South State Constituency accompanied the Speaker to the meeting.
