Corps Members have been warned against traveling without getting permission from relevant authorities in the National Youth Service Corps.
The Director-General, Brigadier General Shuaibu Ibrahim gave this warning in his address to Corps Members currently undergoing their three weeks induction course at NYSC Orientation Camp, Kaduna.
He added that the provisions of NYSC byelaw would be applied to sanction any erring Corps Member. The Chief Executive of the Scheme who said NYSC Management places high priority on the security of Corps Members advised them to be vigilant and also conscious of their security.
‘We don’t want to lose any Corps Member, read and understand the security tips given to you.
Avoid late night movement, don’t make yourselves available for kidnappers, ritualists and armed robbers’, the DG added.Speaking further, he appealed to the Corps Members to abide by the ideals of patriotism adding that as graduates, the society is looking up to them as responsible leaders.
