Nigerian’s Minister Of State Mines and Steel Development Dr Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah has condoled with Former Minister of Finance Dr Ngozi Okonjo Iweala over the death of his father.
In a Message Personally signed by Dr Ogah,the Mines and Steel Minister described the death as painful but urged the Former Finance Minister to take solace in God
The message Reads thus”
“My dear Sister,
I received with shock, the announcement of the death of your father, late Prof. Chukukuka Okonjo, the Obi of Okwashi-uku, an accomplished scholar”
“I am really sorry for your loss. I know how close you were to your father and what an influence he had on your life. We will miss him”
“At this darkest time of your life, May God give you strength and courage to bear this pain. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
“After the tears have dried and the goodbyes have been said, all we have to hold onto are the happy memories that we’ve shared with our loved ones who have passed, this is what keeps them alive in our hearts and in our minds, and they will continue to live on, through us”
“A person that departs from this earth never truly leaves, for they are still alive in our hearts and minds, through us, they live on. He was a great mind whose contribution to the academic sector of this nation, will not be forgotten”
