As part of efforts to fulfil its mandate of preventing economic and financial crimes, the EFCC on Wednesday, October 16, 2019, took its campaign to institutions of higher learning in Ilorin, the Kwara State Capital. Speaking at an event organised by the National Orientation Agency, NOA, at Kingsley College of Education, the Commission, through Dare Folarin who represented the acting Chairman of the Commission, Ibrahim Magu admonished the students to shun all forms of corruption that could endanger their lives and academic pursuit.
According to him, “I plead with you all my brothers and sisters, don’t engage in internet fraud, avoid all sorts of fraud. Avoid them so that you don’t end up in jail. You must be good Ambassadors of your school and to your family. I am sure your parents will not be proud of you if you end up in prison instead of completing your education and be the shining example that you ought to be”, he admonished.
