Governor Okezie Ikpeazu has ordered contractors handling various road projects in the state to return fully to site and expeditiously ensure the completion of those projects.
The Governor noted that with the abatement of the unusually heavy rains witnessed this year and with substantial provision made for funding, the contractors have no reason to delay any project.
Road projects under this category include the Osisioma Flyover Project, Ururuka Road, Osusu Road Aba , Aba Road Umuahia, Afor Ibeji Road Umuahia, the Osisioma – Ekeakpara road, Aba Owerri Road, etc.
The Governor further directs the Honorable Commissioner for Works to ensure that the OPERATION ZERO POTHOLE in Aba and Umuahia resumes fully.
