The body of Ward Chairmen and Local Government Area executive of the PDP of Ukwa West LGA Chapter has risen from an extra ordinary meeting to suspend her former party Chairman, Elder Dike Ogbonna B for various offences including refusal to summon any LGA party executive meeting in the last three years

Other resolutions at the meeting included
“1that no meeting of such took place over the weekend as alledged to the best of our knowledge.
2. That we read such meetings in the Social Media wherein we noticed that active members of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) and other political parties were said to be in attendance.
3. That up until now no complaint of indiscipline has been lodged to us either in part or as a whole against any of the afformentioned leaders of the party .
4. That the constitutionally approved procedures for impeachment, recall, suspension was not followed as provided for in Chapter 10 of the PDP constitution as amended . The provision in part gives the Ward under our leadership the powers to commence such disciplinary process.
5. That their action is inimical to the growth, progress and integrity of the party as same has caused us embarrassment comity of parties.”
