Nigerian professional Football League match day 20 was brought to an end as misunderstanding amongst fans interrupted the game at the 20th minute of the first half at the Umuahia Township Stadium.

Crisis started when a popular stand known as York saw stones rolling at the stand and people started running for safety while some injured.

The Referee quickly called for the game to stop when some of the Enyimba fans invaded the football pitch and started destroying equipment in the stadium.

Every attempt to stop them failed into deef ears as both Chairman of the 2 Clubs ,Abia Warriors and Enyimba,Pastor Emeka Inyama and Felix Anyansiagwu struggled to douse the tension.

The game is the reverse fixture of the oriental derby between Abia Warriors who lost 2-1 in Aba last Sunday Against Enyimba International of Aba.
