Government special announcement
The Governor of Abia state, Okezie victor Ikpeazu, Ph.D has approved the appointment of Prof. Mkpa Agu Mkpa as chairman, Abia State Independent Electoral Commission (ABSIEC).
Consequently the name of Prof Mkpa Agu Mkpa has been forwarded to the Abia State House of Assembly for confirmation as required by extant laws
