Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde has signed the Oyo State Security Network (Operation Amotekun) Bill into Law.
The Governor in his address made it known that the Oyo State Security Outfit is not a replacement for federal security agencies.
He added that its formation is to complement the commendable efforts of the federal security agencies.
He reminded criminally minded people to be wary of Oyo State and the South-West Geo-political zone of Nigeria as the Amotekun Security formation is focused on ensuring a safe and secured society.
