The Emir of Rano, Tafida Abubakar II (74) is Dead. He passed on hours after being admitted at Nassarawa hospital in Kano.
Early in the morning, there were anxiety in Kano as Emir of Rano reportedly rushed to Hospital, in critical condition.
Dr Tafida Abubakar Ila ll, the Emir of Rano, is one of the emirs of the newly created Emirates in Kano. The cause of his death is undisclosed amidst rumor of COVID-19 ravaging Kano.
Kano state has taken center stage in Nigeria’s reported Coronavirus cases. Daily Trust reports that the Emir was brought to Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital (AKTH) in a critical condition yesterday, May 1st and was later referred to the Nassarawa Specialist Hospital for further medical attention.
He left behind 17 children comprising of 12 female and 5 males.
