Chief of Staff to Ahoada East Local Government Area, Hon. Hansome Ekelechi Agile has emerged the Peoples Democratic Party Chairman.
Handsome Ekelechi Agile, MEd, ACAI, MCIPurS, is at this time the Chief of Staff of Ahoada East L.G.A, he also served as Auditor in the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Ward three (3) former Exco for 8years, in that capacity he played a participatory politics in making sure the party wins in every election. As a party stalwart, he often touched the lives of widows through the provision of goods to support their livelihood.
He is a successful business man who single handedly gave a face-lift to the Ancient Okpeshidhor Igbani Lane in Ahoada opposite the traditional playground of Ahoada town. Also reactivated a long time abandoned water borehole into a full functional one within a short time at Echikwa street junction Ahoada town.
WORK EXPERIENCE
The young man started his work career at Jerospalm Limited, East/West road Ahoada town in the year 2000, as a Raw Material production recorder. Later got employed at Pabod Breweries Limited as a Security Personnel in 2007, redeployed as a driver when SABMILLER bought over the business from River State Government. Thereafter, he was promoted as a Store-Keeper meritoriously and successively got to the level of Engineering and Electrical Warehouse.
Controller. He had ten years (10yrs) and six months’ work experience in ABInBev, today known as International Breweries Plc in Trans Amadi Industrial Layout Oginigba Port Harcourt Rivers State. He was appointed as the Chief of Staff in Ahoada East Local Government under the administration of Hon. (Barr.) Benjamin Israel Eke the Executive Chairman of Ahoada East Local Government Area, in 2018.
EDUCATIONAL
His educational career started in U.P.E. Model Primary School II Ahoada during the year 1992/1993. Later continued Secondary Education in Western Ahoada county High School, Ahoada 1999.
Further obtained National Diploma (ND) in Public Administration in the Rivers State College of Arts and Science, Rumuola now Capt. Elechi Amadi Polytechnic 2006. Attained a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Public Administration at Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic, Ikot Osurua, Ikot Ekpene 2009. A Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) in Conflict Management and Resolutions at the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife, Nigeria 2013 and another Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) at the premium University of Ibadan, Nigeria 2015.
In his quest for contemporary knowledge he bagged a Master of Education (MEd) Degree in Educational Management (Higher Education Administration) at Ignatius Ajuru University of
Education, Rumuolumeni Port Harcourt, Nigeria 2019.
Now doing his Ph.D and researching on Educational Leadership and Policy, he has concluded the writing and submission of his thesis now counting days for the presentation at Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, Rumuolumeni Port Harcourt, Nigeria.
