The trial of John Emenike Umesi, a former acting Director, Special Duties, National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA, who is being prosecuted by the EFCC on a four-count charge, will continue tomorrow, Thursday, May 14, 2020, before Justice Jude Okeke of Federal Capital Territory, FCT High Court, Maitama, Abuja. Umesi, being the South-South Zonal Coordinator allegedly misappropriated and diverted N54.5 million being funds meant for programmes, and maintenance of the zone.
