POSTPONEMENT OF THE YEAR 2020 NATIONAL YOUTH WEEK
Following a communiqué released by the National Youth Executives after their online meeting on Saturday, May 9, 2020, the ratification of the General Council Officers was sought for on the issue of the proposal to postpone the year 2020 National Youth Week.
Outcome:
a. The proposal to postpone the year 2020 National Youth Week has been RATIFIED by the General Council Officers. In other words, the year 2020 National Youth Week has been POSTPONED on account of the challenge posed by COVID-19.
b. A new date will yet be announced.
c. For now, the National Youth Executives are taking time to observe how events unfold in the coming days and weeks, so as to be properly guided in slating a new date for the National Youth Week.
