The Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA), has appointed Prof. Adam Ahmed as the new acting Academy Provost (AP).
This was contained in a statement on Tuesday by NDA Public Relations Officer of NDA, Major Abubakar Abdullahi.
He said the appointment followed the termination of the tenure of the former acting AP, Prof. Usman Muhammed.
Ahmed was born on December 28, 1963.
He attended Bayero University, Kano, where he bagged a Bachelor degree in History and emerged as the best graduating student.
At several times, he was Chairman, NUC Accreditation Teams to varsities including Ekiti State University, Ado Ekiti, Federal University, Wukari, among others.
Ahmed was a member of the Presidential Police Reform Committee (Wudil), Abuja, 2009 and the Presidential Research Committee, 2005- 2006.
He is the Chairman and Pro-Chancellor of Kogi State University, Anyigba and Chair of Chairmen of Kogi State tertiary institutions.
