On Thursday the Peoples Democratic Party has postponed its gubernatorial primaries in Edo State.
The Primaries which was due slated to be on Saturday 19th June, was postponed to Tuesday, June 23rd, 2020.
Kola Ologbondiyan, PDP’s National Publicity Secretary, made this known on his Twitter page.
Kola Ologbondiyan wrote, “@OfficialPDPNig has postponed its primary election in Edo State to Tuesday, June, 23rd, 2020”.
Meanwhile, the Peoples Democratic Party on Wednesday vowed that there will be no automatic ticket for the governor of Edo State Mr. Godwin Obaseki.
Hon. Tony Aziegbemi, the party’s chairman in Edo State said the party is very much prepared for the primaries coming up in the next two days, with the hope of cruising to victory at the poll come September this year.
