FAAN relocates its headquarters to Abuja

The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) on Wednesday said it has relocated its headquarters to Abuja.

Mrs Henrietta Yakubu, General Manager, Public Affairs, made this known in a statement, adding that the decision was in compliance with the Federal Ministry of Aviation’s directive that agencies in the sector relocate their headquarters to Abuja.

Mrs Henrietta Yakubu said the new development was aimed at ensuring operational efficiency, while improving the quality of service delivery to our esteemed customers.

According to Mrs Henrietta Yakubu, the Managing Director, Capt. Rabiu Yadudu, directors and other critical staff members of the Authority, had since relocated to the new FAAN headquarters.

Recalls that due to similar circumstances, the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency, NAMA, had on Sunday announced that it has relocated its corporate headquarters from Lagos to Abuja.
