… Congratulates Sokonte Davies on appointment by SEC as CTC Chair… Hails Aguma’s suspension as apt… Says party returning to healing path.

Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, has expressed disappointment over comments credited to former Chief of Staff to Rt. Hon. Chibuike Amaechi, and now an avowed leader in the circle of known saboteurs, Hon. Tony Okocha, in his latest but customary diatribe captioned “THE UNFUTILITY OF AN ILLEGAL CONTRAPTION” wherein he boastfully predicted triumph for Aguma and partners in one of their litany of litigations against the Rivers APC pending before Hon. Justice Omereji of the Port Harcourt High Court and listed to be dispensed on July 7, 2020.

Quoting, Hon. Okocha, who may have already gotten a hint of what this judgement will look like boasted, “Imagine that on the 7th of July, 2020 (few days ahead), the high court in RIVERS STATE, in defence of its orders, makes a pronouncement that may seem unpalatable? Are we ignorant of that fact? Or do we approach it with our usual indifferent embroidery?” This prediction of a judgement yet to be delivered by a pillar of those who want to ridicule President Muhammadu Buhari and new the leadership of APC by influencing court judgement simply demonstrates that this group of people being sponsored by Senator Magnus Abe and Hon. Aguma are no longer of members of APC and should be severally sanctioned for being disobedient to the President and leaders of APC, President Buhari accordingly.

In a statement made available to media houses, Chief Eze, former National Publicity Secretary of the defunct New People’s Democratic Party (nPDP) said haven extensively ruminated on Tony Okocha’s claim, it becomes expedient to logically arrive at the conclusion that vultures may have congregated to devise a scheme to smear justice on the said matter.

The party chief said the revelation smacks of the determination of Senator Abe and Igo Aguma to see the party reduced to rubbles and ridicule the efforts of President Mohammadu Buhari and the new leadership of the All Progressives Congress at reconciling the dichotomy of interests within the state chapter of the party.

Eze highlighted that afore knowledge of the July 7 Court ruling may have also prompted Aguma to publicly declare that the State Party Secretariat be shut. He also related Sen. Abe’s claim that a suspended Aguma remains the CTC Chairman of the Rivers APC to the pre knowledge of the outcome of July 7.

It is equally noteworthy that Sen. Abe had recently boasted with much confidence that he would visit Igo Aguma as State Chair of the Rivers APC upon his return from Abuja in an unknown date.

Chief Eze however expressed optimism that Justice will be served on the matter notwithstanding the grand conspiracy by Abe, Igo and others to desecrate the sacredness of the state judiciary in the pursuit of their selfish private vendettas.

Furthermore, the party stalwart congratulated and described the emergence of Dr. Sokonte Davies as Chairman of the Rivers APC CTC as healthy for the rebuilding of the shaky foundation of the party in the state.

He said Dr. Sokonte Davies, immediate past Executive Director, Marine and Operations, Nigeria Ports Authority, is stocked with the requisite administrative competence and skills to navigate the party to its destination of peace.

Dr. Davies was appointed by Statutory Members of the State Executive Committee of the Rivers APC in its meeting of June 22, 2020 which was attended by 28/38 of members to replace Gov. Wike’s mole, Igo Aguma, who has wrecked enough havoc in the party within the few days he conscripted himself into a sole administrator against the unambiguous direction of the Court.

Recall that the Court had in the Suit No. PHC/43552019 directed all Statutory Members of the State Executive Committee to be constituted to oversee the party with Aguma as Chairman. This notwithstanding, Aguma interpreted the Court’s decision to suit his whims and ordained himself a sole administrator, taking all sensitive decisions from the comfort of his house and without resort to other statutory members.

Describing Aguma’s suspension as one of the good things that has happened to the party, Eze said APC faithful across the state can now hive a sigh of relief and plan ahead towards rejigging the party for better outings.

Chief Eze has always exposed Aguma’s scheming and romance with Gov. Wike and other leaders of the PDP and though not being a Prophet, warned about his illicit arrangements with the opposition to keep the party in perpetual commotion and hostility to give the PDP a smooth ride to the polls in 2023.

Those elected to head the party alongside Dr. Davies are:

1. Dr. Sokonte Davies – Chairman

2. Sampson Egop – Secretary

3. Ogbonna Nwuke – Publicity Secretary

4. Irene Inimgba – Women Leader

5. Fred Igwe – Org. Sec.

Eze commended the new leadership for swiftly swinging into action and bringing their vast experiences acquired in public service to bear in the administration of the party for the good of teeming party faithful who have endured the hardship occasioned by known adversaries.

While praying God to guide them through the assignment of pulling the party through, the APC chief appealed to party members to give the needed support to the Executive Committee to deliver on its mandate.

Ends

Signed

Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze

APC Chieftain & former National Publicity Secretary, nPDP
