Niger State Assembly Deputy Speaker resigns

On Thursday the Niger State House of Assembly Deputy Speaker , Bako Kasim Alfa, has resigned.

Bako Kasim Alfa made the announcement during the plenary session on Thursday.

The Speaker of the House read his resignation letter which he submitted.

Bako Kasim Alfa, did not, however, disclosed the reasons for his decision to resign.

Bako Kasim Alfa has also been replaced by Jibrin Ndagi Baba, the lawmaker representing Lavun constituency.
