Incumbent Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki has been declared winner of 2020 Edo Governorship Election which was conducted on 19th September 2020 by Independent National Electoral Commission INEC.
The INEC Returning Officer announced Godwin Obaseki of Peoples Democratic Party PDP winner after defeating his closest challenger Pastor Osegie Ize-Iyamu of All Progressive Congress APC.
Obaseki polled a total votes of 307,955 while Ize-Iyamu polled 223,619
Obaseki has been returned elected for second term as Governor of Edo State.
