On Tuesday the former Kano State Governor, Rabiu Kwankwaso has urged Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike to brace-up for a national assignment.
Kwankwaso, a former Minister of Defence made the call during the Tuesday commissioning of the Rumuogba Flyover in the Obio-Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State.
He said Governor Wike has shown the capacity for infrastructural development by working round the clock to make Rivers State better for inhabitants.
“You have been working round the clock to make Rivers State a better place for everybody. We have seen your projects and of course, we have reasons to come to Rivers State and to go round and witness the developments that are taking place here.
“I have seen the positive change you have brought to the state since you got to office in 2015.
“Being a Governor is a huge responsibility and you have spent six years with 2 years left to occupy the Government House here in Rivers State before you move forward for the national assignment,” he said.
