The President of the Supreme Youth Of Aba Indigenes and Councilor Representing Ogbor 1 Ward 10 in the Aba North Legislative Council Hon. Chiemela Amanze Egege has assured Supporters of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) will reclaim Aba North/South Federal Constituency which the party lost to the opposition All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA).
Addressing Youths and Supporters in Aba on Monday, Hon Amanze appealed to the Abia State Governor Dr Okezie Victor Ikpeazu and the State Working Commitee of the PDP to consider Chief Alex Ikwechegh as the Party’s flag bearer ahead of the March 27th 2021 Bye-Election for Aba North/South Federal Constituency.
He promised to resign as Councilor Representing the Poeple of Ogbor 1 Ward 10 at the Aba North Legislative Council if Chief Alex Ikwechegh loses the election as candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP).
” Chief Alex Ikwechegh is a man with high electoral pedigree and has grass root acceptability, i will resign as councilor if he loses the election as candidate of our great Party(PDP) for the Aba North/ South Bye-election”
He also revealed that the supreme Youths of Aba Indigenes will soon emback on an official visit to the traditional rulers of Aba North to support and endorse the aspiration of Chief Alex Ikwechegh.
So far, the Youths under the aegies of the Supreme Youths of Aba Indigens has raised funds for the Nomination form for Chief Alex Ikwechegh.
Hon. Amanze urged the Abia State Governor Dr . Okezie Victor Ikpeazu.
The Speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Chinedum Orji, the Deputy Governor Rt. Hon. Ude Oko Chukwu and all stake holders of PDP in Aba North/ South not to repeat the mistake the mistake of 2015.
