Worried at the degree of falsehood peddled by a former governor and senator representing Abia North Senatorial District, Orji Uzor Kalu, over projects executed by the Ikpeazu led administration during the Aba North and South bye election campaign, Special Adviser to the Governor of Abia State on General Duties, Elder Erondu Uchenna Erondu Jnr has given Orji Kalu a one week ultimatum to produce contract papers showing that the roads constructed in Aba were built by NDDC .
Orji had mendaciously claimed in one of his outings while campaigning for his younger brother, Mascot Uzor, that roads constructed in Aba were built by NDDC.
Orji’s assertion had generated reactions from different quarters.
Elder Erondu while speaking at a victory rally organized by PDP at Aba Town Hall to celebrate the victory of hon. Chimaobi Ebisike gave Orji Kalu one week to produce the contract papers, tender an unreserved apology to the government and people of Abia State, for false claims or be declared persona non grata in Abia State.
He used the occasion to thank the people Aba for coming out en mass to vote for PDP, which he attributed to acceptance of Ikpeazu’s administration and gratitude for his giant strides in Aba and Abia State in general.
Also speaking, member, representing Isiala Ngwa North and South Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives Hon. Darlington Nwokocha, described the rally as a social gathering of unity and therefore maintained that the victory has bonded the Abia people together in celebration of the achievements of Governor Okezie lkpeazu.
Other speakers at the rally include; member representing Aba North State Constituency, Hon. Aaron Uzodike, President of Ngwa Patriots Forum, Chief Uzo Ihuka, Chairman of Aba South, Hon. Clinton Ebere ,his counterpart from Isiala Ngwa North and a host of other political leaders.
