On Monday the Biafra Nations League, BNL, has threatened fire and brimstone on the Nigerian Army, if it (the army) repeats same attack that led to the death of Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB’s leader, Ikonso Don in Imo State.
BNL dared the army and other security agencies to launch similar operations against its members in the Bakassi Peninsula.
It said the Nigerian security operatives will “face consuming fire.”
Chief Head of Operations of BNL, Henry Edet, in a statement in reaction to the killing of the ESN commander and six others, said that “the Nigeria Securities will see something different if they touch any officer of the of the BNL especially in Bakassi Peninsula.”
It was reported at the weekend that Ikonso Don, commander of the Eastern Security Network, ESN, was confirmed killed by the military.
BNL said it condemned the actions of the military, adding that “the situation in the entire Eastern Region will worsen.”
The group, however, said that they “won’t attack securities unless they attack us”, adding that “members of [our] Militia wing already signed their death warrant and are not afraid of attacks from security agencies.”
