The Police in Lagos have provided details of the next stage of the ongoing 2020 recruitment.
The process, which commenced last year, will add 20,000 new officers and men to the current 371,800 workforce.
A statement on Thursday by Lagos command spokesman, Adekunle Ajisebutu, said all applicants for the next stage are expected to appear.
The computer-based test (CBT) will take place on Friday 29th October and Saturday 30th October.
Those shortlisted for Lagos must be at the WAEC Testing and Training Centre in Ogba one hour before commencement.
The CBT will start at 8.30 am on Friday. The candidates must present a printout of their exam slips and writing materials.
Adekunle said the exercise is free and warned candidates are against examination malpractices.
“Any infraction will attract severe penalties”, the Public Relations Officer warned.
In September, Inspector General of Police, Usman Baba, confirmed the resolution of issues that delayed the process.
The IGP was upbeat that the recruitment will increase the strength of the Force and boost internal security.
Baba said President Muhammadu Buhari approved the current enlistment, assuring that every state and local government would benefit.
After training, the new operatives would be deployed to serve within their respective local government area.
