The senator said that there is no going back on the Port Harcourt campus of Nigerian Law School, irrespective of the current bill pending before the National Assembly titled, ‘A bill for an Act to amend the Legal Education (Consolidation etc.) Act by establishing the campuses for the Nigerian Law School, and for other related matters.’

“Rivers State has set a very high standard, this is the best in the country, I don’t think any law school campus in the future can beat this,” He said.

“The economic implications of this campus are far reaching not just in Rivers State but Nigeria at large,” The senator said.

Governor Nyesom Wike also took the senators to inspect the staff residential quarters under construction in another location.
