On Tuesday Manchester United have reached an agreement to add another coach, Sascha Lense, to Ralf Rangnick’s coaching staff at Old Trafford.
According to The Athletic, Rangnick wants Lense, a sports psychologist, to join him at Man United and a deal has been agreed.
Lense, 46, visited Man United’s training ground facility at Carrington on Monday.
Recall that Man United have already secured a deal for Chris Armas to join Rangnick’s coaching staff.
Lense worked with Rangnick at RB Leipzig and has since had spells with Schalke and Dynamo Dresden.
He was a Bundesliga 2 player in the 1990s.
Lense will not be part of the medical team and will join Rangnick’s coaching staff along with Armas, who previously managed MLS clubs Toronto FC New York Red Bulls.
Meanwhile, Rangnick took charge of his first game as Man United manager on Sunday as his team defeated Crystal Palace 1-0 in a Premier League tie.
