The Deputy Chairman of Bende Local Government Area Hon Promise Uzoma Okoro today Thursday 23rd December 2021 Presented cash for the payment of one year School Fees for Master Akachukwu James and Master Goodluck James ,two Children of the Late former Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Alayi Ward Late Mr James Ogbonnaya(Obolor).
Presenting the cash at his Alayi Country home this afternoon, the Deputy Chairman said he decided to fulfil the promise he made during the burial of the late former Party Chairman of the PDP in Alayi Ward as a politician who plays Politics with his conscience.
He urged the wife of the Late former Chairman of the PDP in Alayi to ensure his Sons in consonant with good morals.
“Madam, you have the responsibility of standing by these children, I know how tedious it might be because I was in this state some years ago when my mother was left with the challenge of raising us after the death of his husband”
“I promised to pay two years school fees for your two children, for the two years I will be in office as Deputy Chairman of Bende ,this money is to handle their one year School Fees, by the grace of God ,next year, I will also pay the same” he said.
In his remarks, a former Youth Leader of the PDP in Bende Local Government who is a close family friend to the deceased appreciated the Deputy Chairman for keeping to his words.
“This is my first time since I started politics, that I will be present when someone promised and still Fulfilled it in my presence”
He prayed God to bless the Deputy Chairman of Bende Local Government Area Hon. Promise Uzoma Okoro and promote him to a higher position.
The wife of the late Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party in Alayi Ward Mrs Oyiri James who was filled with joy prayed God to continue to protect the Deputy Chairman and open more Political doors for him.
