On Tuesday Senator David Mark, Chairman of the Central Planning Committee for the 2022 Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) National Convention for the nomination of the Presidential candidate of the party, has led other members of the committee on an inspection tour of the National Stadium, the venue of the convention to ensure a hitch-free event.
The Convention is slated to hold on May 28th and 29th, 2022.
Senator Mark was appointed Chairman of the 2022 PDP convention on May 10 during the joint meeting of the party’s 98th National Executive Council (NEC), Board of Trustees (BoT) and the Caucus at the National Secretariat, Abuja.
Other members of the committee at the stadium include Governors Samuel Ortom, Godwin Obaseki, and Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Benue, Edo and Enugu states respectively.
Also at the inspection were Barr Ibrahim Shema and Emeka Ihedioha, former Governors of Katsina and Imo states, Prof Jerry Gana, Senator Olujinmi, Senator Philip Aduda as well as Mr Solomon Arase, former Inspector General of Police, among others.
