The Lawmaker representing Umunnoechi State Constituency Hon Okey Igwe has emerged as the Deputy Governorship Candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Abia State.
Hon Igwe was Executive Chairman of Umunnoechi Local Government Area between 2016 and 2018, in 2019 contested and won election as the Lawmaker representing Umunnoechi State Constituency.
He is now the running mate of Prof Uchenna Ikonne ahead of the 2023 general election in Abia State.
