The governorship candidate of Accord Party Dumo Lulu-Briggs has reacted on the matter the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) took their party to court saying that they shouldn’t not touch them with their dirty politics.
On a press briefing at the court yesterday, Dumo said, We will recall that on the matter that the PDP took our party, the Accord, to court, which is a matter of internal party affairs that isn’t their business, came up yesterday.
Well, after listening to the motions and applications by counsels, the matter was adjourn to 13/09/2022 for hearing.
It’s an internal affairs of Accord, and the PDP continue to meddle in the affairs of other parties, and I do not know to what end. This attitude sadly seeks to disenfranchise other parties leaving a sole party at the polls.
It’s unfortunate, Rivers people must be allowed the privilege to decide who will be their next Governor, next Senator, next Members of the Federal House and next House of Assembly members. I think this is very unwelcome, it’s an unwholesome exercise embarked upon by the PDP.
They shouldn’t touch us with their dirty politics, we are very clean. Our politics is without bitterness, and when the ban is lifted, we just want to address the Rivers electorates, take our campaigns to the nook and crannies of Rivers State.
I also believe it’s now known by all that Accord right now isn’t an alternative that people will say they are looking for a third force, Accord is indeed the SOLUTION. We believe in God the Father in Heaven who provides for us, and since it has seemed to be a David and Goliath battle, SURELY, as God helped David to conquer Goliath, even in this matter, the David in us will conquer the Goliath in them.
