Barely 37 days to the presidential election, the former Kaduna federal lawmaker Shehu Sani has said the country’s major problem is security.
Senator Sani also called on the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, to ensure that people who live in localities with security challenges will not be disenfranchised.
The statement was on Thursday contained in a post via his verified Twitter handle.
He noted that conducting elections in some parts of the country will be a great challenge.
“Nigeria’s most important problem is security. Conducting election in some parts of the country will definitely be a great challenge. INEC must device means of ensuring that people who live dangerous localities are not disenfranchised,” he wrote.
