The Inspector General of Police IGP Usman Baba Alkali has approved a new divisional Police headquarters for Igbere in Bende Local Government Area of Abia State.
PUO Reports gathered that the new police division which is located in Okafia Igbere will cover IGBERE, ITEM, UMUHU, ALAYI, UGWEKE and EZEUKWU all in Bende Local Government Area.
This will now bring a total of three Police divisional headquarters of the Nigerian Police in Bende; Bende Police Divisional Headquarters, Uzuakoli Police divisional headquarters and now Igbere Police divisional headquarters.
Csp BUKU BC the former Dpo Uzuakoli is the pioneer DPO of IGBERE Divisional Headquarters.
