Information filtering in has it that the convoy of Governor, Hope Uzodinma of Imo State has been reportedly attacked by yet to be identified gunmen along Ngor Okpala-Aba road.
Confirming the incident, one of the security operatives who spoke on condition of anonymity, thanked God for escaping unhurt, revealing that over 7 persons lost their lives, while about 5 government Aides sustained degrees of injury.
The current state of health of Governor Uzodinma has remained unknown since the attack as neither the Commissioner for Information, Declan Enelumba nor the Governor’s Chief Secretary , Oguwuike Nwachukwu has picked Calls.
