The Vice Chancellor of the Imo State University Professor Uchefula Ugonna Chukwumaeze has condemned the actions of Dr Desmond Izunwanne who was caught on camera slapping a pregnant student for attending lecture late and not wearing departmental uniform.
It was gathered that the said lecturer is a serial woman bitter who was notorious for slapping students of the nursing department Orlu Campus of the Imo State University ,before his activities was reported to the school management which led to his transfer to the main Campus in Owerri, the Imo State Capital.
A student of the institution who confirmed the development to PUO reports on Monday said it was good that God exposed the activities of the embattled lecture who has abuse tens of students of the institution.
Meanwhile, the Vice Chancellor of the institution has summoned an emergency management meeting of the university to discuss the ugly development which is painting the university in bad light.
If found guilty, Dr Desmond who is a lecturer in the in the faculty of Basic medical science, risk sack from the institution.
