The Abia State House of Assembly has cautioned heads of government agencies, department and Parastatals to ignore summons from authorized persons with the name of the House.
In a statement on Friday, the Clerk /Permanent Secretary of the House Sir John Pedro Irokansi said any invitation or purported summon that does not have the endorsement of the Clerk of the House is illegal and should be dis-countenanced.
PUO reports that one of the suspended members of the House of Assembly had issued a statement purportedly inviting heads of government agencies to an undisclosed location, a move which the clerk said was illegal.
