Senators-elect from the five South-East states have adopted the current Chief Whip of the Senate, Orji Uzor Kalu as its sole candidate for the office of the president of the 10th Senate.
The senators-elect disclosed this after a closed-door meeting on Sunday afternoon.
Senator Orji Uzor Kalu who represents Abia North Senatorial District said he has the needed experience to be Senate President.
