Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has lauded Nigerian chef Hilda Bassey for her amazing dishes.
It was earlier reported that the chef, popularly known as Hilda Baci, broke the Guinness World Record record on Monday after cooking for over 87 hours.
Reacting, Sanwo-Olu in a tweet on Monday, revealed that he was privileged to visit and taste her dishes on Sunday.
According to the governor, Hilda’s dedication to her cooking profession is unparalleled.
He wrote, “Huge congratulations to Chef Hilda Baci on breaking the Guinness World Record for the longest hours spent cooking.
“I had the privilege of visiting and tasting her amazing dishes yesterday.
“The flavour, passion and dedication she puts into her work are unparalleled. Hilda, you’ve made Lagos proud, and your accomplishment is a testament to the Nigerian spirit”.
