The Independent National Electoral Commission(INEC) has confirmed that the National leadership of the Labour Party(LP) did not submit membership register for Abia State to the Commission.
The Commission in a letter endorsed by its National Secretary Rose Orianrah Anthony in response to the freedom of information request made by a Legal office Ugo and Co said although Labour Party submitted it’s membership register but that of Abia was not included by the party.
“This is to advise you that although Labour Party submitted it’s membership register in a letter dated 25th April and 5th May respectively, that of Abia was not included” the letter said.
