As part of events leading up to the end of his administration, Governor Okezie Ikpeazu today held a farewell meeting with the State Council of Traditional Rulers at the Dr. Micheal Okpara Auditorium Umuahia.
He thanked the Royal Fathers for their support and prayers which helped his administration to maintain peaceful and harmony across the entire State.
He particularly thanked the Chairman of the Council, His Eminence, Eze Sir J N Nwabekee for his leadership and prayed God to bless hin and all Royal Fathers in the State.
The Traditional Rulers later presented the Governor with an award as AMBASSADOR OF PEACE.
Deputy Governor Sir Ude Oko Chukwu and Secretary to Government, Barrister Chris Ezem accompanied the Governor to the meeting.
