Abia State Governor Dr Alex Otti has blamed his predecessor Dr Okezie Victor Ikpeazu for being the reason why civil servants has not been paid their April and May salaries.
The Governor who was speaking at the reception in honor of the House of Representatives member representing Ikwuano Umuahia Federal Constituency Hon Obi Aguocha said the arrears of Salaries was responsible for the delays in payment of workers Salaries.
This is contrary to the earlier promise made by the Governor about prompt payment of Salaries.
