Miss. Chimaeze Chisara Ngozichukwu from Ninlan Demonstration Secondary School Obingwa, Abia State has won the Essay Competition among Secondary Schools in Nigeria organized by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency(NDLEA)
The NDLEA Annual Essay Competition Exercise was Part of the Weeklong Programme of this year United Nations Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Drug Trafficking.
The Schools were given a topic titled: ” *Substance Abuse is a Major Problem among the Young Generation of Today, What is the Way Forward* .”
Based on the Entries submitted by Secondary Schools in Abia State, the Judges comprises, representatives from State Ministry of Education, Ministry of Health and an NGO selected 3 best Schools.
The Best 3 entries were sent to Abuja and that of Chimaeze Chisara Ngozichukwu from Ninlan Demonstration Secondary School Obingwa Abia State, was adjudged the best.
She received a Merit Award yesterday 26th June 2023, from the Chairman Chief Executive Officer of NDLEA, Brig. Gen. MB Marwa (Retd), CON, OFR.
