Worshipers at Agape Evangelical Ministeries Incorporated Aba, Abia State this morning Sunday 20th August stayed away from Service following the involvement of the founder and General Overseer Bishop Timothy Otu in the circumstances surrounding the death of Evangelist Happiness Echezie.
A member of the Church who spoke to PUO reports on Sunday morning said the incident was shameful and disgraceful to them who attends the Church located at Obikabia Junction.
It was also gathered that the owner of the Land housing the Church building chased few members who had arrived the Church premises early in the morning.
“I am a member of the choir, we had come this early morning at least to be briefed by the assistant Pastor but the landlord did not allow us”
When our correspondent visited the premises around 10:30am, the Church was under lock and key.
It will be recalled that the Abia State Police Command has last Sunday arrested Bishop Timothy Otu over the death of Evangelist Happiness Echezie who lodged into a guest House with him on Saturday night.
