The House of Representatives has scraped the 5 billion naira appropriated in the 2023 supplementary budget for Presidential Yacht
Briefing journalists after the passage of the supplementary budget, Chairman, House Committee on Appropriation, Abubakar Bichi says the lawmakers considered public interest in scrapping the provision for the Yacht and transferring the sum to add to the 5.5 billion naira student loan.
The student loan budgetary allocation is now 10.5 billion naira.
