The Commissioner of Police in Rivers State, Tunji Disu, addressed concerns about the events at the home of lawmaker Edison Ehie, stating that it was a routine police patrol and not an assassination attempt.
Speaking to journalists at the Government House in Port Harcourt, CP Disu requested the lawmaker’s cooperation in providing any additional information related to the incident.
